Our Team
Marcus Pointe Thrift Store was started as the vision of Pastor Gordon Godfrey, Jr. He has a desire to do more for missions than he ever thought would be possible. Pensacola being a military town, he wanted to find a way to bless military families as well. The mission of the Marcus Pointe Thrift Store was born. We have stayed true to our mission since June of 2015.
At Marcus Pointe Thrift Store, we have a dedicated team of professionals who are passionate about providing a unique shopping experience for our customers. Our team members are knowledgeable about the products we sell and are always ready to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have. We hope that you will take the time to get to know us.
Gordon Godfrey, Jr. - Sr. Pastor
Pastor Godfrey has been the Sr. Pastor at Marcus Pointe Baptist Church since 1991! He is an innovated leader and has a great desire to impact our local community in everything that Marcus Pointe does.
Pastor has made plans for the next thrift store to be located in Pace, FL.
Cassi Ford -
Online Store - Manager
Cassi joined the Thrift Store team in July of 2015. She brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to every area of our store. We learned quickly that our online store needed to have a dedicated person to manage the flow of everything that was being sold across multiple platforms. Our online store has seen great success under Cassi's leadership.
Cassie Keever -
Store Manager
Cassie started as a volunteer at the Thrift Store, and later joined the team in June of 2017. As the wife of a retired Sailor, she has a heart for the Military community, and understands the importance of supporting Active Duty families. Cassie stepped into the role of Store Manager in December of 2024 when Melissa retired to dedicate more time to her family.
